Award-winning Journalist
Tamar S. Snyder is an award-winning journalist who specializes in entrepreneurship, personal finance, education, and philanthropy. She worked for several years as a philanthropy reporter for The Jewish Week, where she conceived of the idea for the "36 Under 36" section - an annual special section highlighting young Jews who are re-envisioning Jewish life in the arts, education, philanthropy, and other arenas. Tamar received a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, Edutopia, the Staten Island Advance, AOL, and other publications. She is a recipient of the 2008 Simon Rockower Award for Excellence in Jewish Journalism.
